Today the Salisbury City Band hosted its 39th Slow Melody Competition, and Enfield Brass had three entrants.
In the Senior section, Jason Chatterton (euphonium) came fourth out of 15 competitors with a score of 92 points for his performance of Lilac Wine. Later in the Veterans section, Dave Griffiths (cornet) and Jeannie Magin (horn) came second and fourth with scores of 92 and 84 points respectively. Dave played Drink to Me Only with Thine Eyes and Jeannie played Send In The Clowns.
